Final garment call has been extended until Tuesday May 22nd at 9 pm. We are accepting garments in all categories, especially streetwear/daywear, children's wear, men's wear, and evening wear/couture.
Garments must be submitted in a garment bag on a hanger with a garment sheet and a photo of the garment on a live model. This is your last chance to submit garments for consideration for the show!! Please show your support for the show and submit those garments!!!

MODEL FITTINGS
Attention all models:
We are having fittings for the 2007 fashion show, Culture Shock. Fittings will be held on Saturday, May 19th from 9 am to 2 pm in room 327 of the main building. There will be another fitting on Wednesday, May 23rd from 12 pm to 9 pm in room 334 of the main building. Models who have received emails about the fittings should be in attendance. Models who have received emails and who do not show up for fittings will not be modeling in the show. Please call Kahsandra Frazer at 954-873-4539 to set up a time that is convenient for you to come in.
Female models, please bring a pair of high heels. All models, please wear appropriate undergarments. Thanks to everyone for their participation!

TICKETS AVAILABLE
The moment we've all been waiting for!!!! Tickets for the 2007 fashion show, Culture Shock, are now available for purchase.
Tickets are $20 in advance and $30 at the door. They will be available in the lobby of the main building and at the Accounting window on the second floor of the main building.
Come and enjoy a night of shock and awe! Support the Art Institute and our Fashion Department, and buy a ticket today! Don't miss out on this exciting event.....

Attention Designers!!!!!
We are accepting garments for the 2007 fashion show, Culture Shock, up until Monday, May 14th. The final deadline to submit garments is 9 p.m. on that day.
We are accepting garments in the following categories:
Swimwear
Sportswear/Streetwear
Wearable Art/Costume
Evening Wear/Couture
Menswear and children's wear are also needed.
Remember, all garments must be submitted with a garment sheet (available in room 333 in the main building) and a photo of the garment on a live model. Garments must be neatly pressed and submitted in individual garment bags on hangers. Garments that do not meet these requirements will not be accepted.
This is your last opportunity to submit garments for the runway!!! Don't let this chance pass you by!

Do you design accessories, jewelry, or other items that you would like to display and sell? Why not set up a table at the 2007 Culture Shock Fashion Show? Best of all, students from the Art Institute receive FREE table space!!! Don't have enough pieces for a full table? Pair up with another student and share a table! This is a great opportunity for you to showcase your skills and make a profit from your designs.
The show will take place on June 2nd, 2007, at the Broward County Convention Center. All outside vendors will need to pay a fee of $100 per table to sell their wares. Tables open at 5 p.m. All potential vendors need to contact:

GARMENT SHEETS AVAILABLE
Garment sheets for the 2007 fashion show are now available in room 333, across from Mr. West's office. Each garment being submitted for consideration should be accompanied by a garment sheet that has been filled out and signed by the designer. Each garment should also be accompanied by a picture of the garment being modeled by a person. Garments will NOT be accepted if they do not have both a garment sheet and a photo.
